Lesia has established herself in the film Industry for 33 years. Starting at Jacobson’s’ Beauty School with Hair and Make-up at the age of 16. Lesia then moved to Vancouver, soon after a Vancouver designer asked her to model in his fashion show, continued doing runway many years, even with her petite size. She was asked to MC/ Host on a local cable show Pilot Hollywood North in Vancouver B.C. Soon after an agent “Lisa King” spotted her, and the next day started on the TV series 21 Jump Street and became a series regular. Patrick Hasburgh, the Producer from 21 Jump St saw a lot potential, took Lesia around to acting schools where she ended up at Peter Breck Academy where she studied for 10 years in Acting/Voice/Impov/Writing/Directing. 1995 The Actor’s Workshop in Vancouver. She began on Cannell Films TV series 21 Jump St. The Commish, JJ Starbuck, Travelers, The Investigation, Hell on Wheels and many other TV Series/Films. Including major films like; Hallmark Productions “Dreamkeeper,” as Stand in/ /Double/Actor/ Advisor/Stunt, which was her first major stunt scene on a high cliff. Steven Spielberg‘s “Into the West,” as a Stand In/Double/SSE/Make-up/Advisor/Stunt. Bury my Heart on Wounded Knee, Stand In/Double. As an Actor, working with Sidney Poitier on Children of The Dust in 1995, as Lula was a major highlight in her life, along with being a FBI Agent on Investigation 2002 with Anne Wheeler. Lesia shadowed with every Elder on Native advising in Film/TV while making these projects. Later on Lesia went to Joe Blasco in Hollywood, CA. 1999 to upgrade her make-up in Make-up and Prosthetics SFX, in addition taking acting classes at night “To The Top,” in Hollywood for a year.

Lesia started working on Hell on Wheels in Season 1 in episode 6 as a SSE BG. 2013 became an IASTE Local 212 member, continued Make-up/SFX in 2011-2014 on Hell on Wheels putting her acting and writing on hold. She has dedicated herself to being versatile in what she loves; learning her culture, traditions and writing. Believes working behind the camera also is the best foresight to learning this Industry. Watching the people and syndicating the best work strategy in her work ethics. Recently Lesia has divided her time between, research, script-writing and Make-up. Lesia finds advocating significant subjects into her writing attracts attention to important issues like how the First Nations truly lived, elder abuse and other diverse subjects. Lesia strives to be versatile and mindful in what she loves!
The Actress was in many big film and TV projects before she did makeup full time in Alberta.
