David Oulton Donates $10,000 Worth of Clothes to Calgarians in Need

Actor turned real estate agent David Oulton spent Thursday afternoon distributing clothing and essentials to charities and individuals in need. The Galaxy Trek actor gave approximately $10,000 worth of clothing to multiple organizations in Calgary’s downtown core.

The Toronto Star reported last year that Oulton was set to begin work on the action adventure film Flight Plan, along with having a starring role in the upcoming feature length adaptation of the epic poem Dante’s Inferno. However, with the global film industry on hold due to COVID-19, the 27 year old has been focusing his efforts elsewhere.

The Guns of Purgatory actor shared a video on his social media platforms calling for those who are able to donate clothing or other essentials to do so, and showed off several piles of clothing Mag he had ready to give. On Thursday afternoon he made multiple stops throughout Calgary, donning a Burberry scarf to shield his face in lieu of the scarcely available N95 mask. While unloading boxes at The Mustard Seed, the young entrepreneur refused to break social distancing guidelines to take a group photo with volunteers, however agreed to pose alone for a photographer before continuing onward.

Oulton is a luxury real estate agent with the Calgary firm Charles Real Estate, and is well known for his charitable endeavors. He arranged hot meals for 100 homeless individuals during a cold snap in the fall of 2019, and on Christmas Day in 2018 he and his family spent the day in Havana, Cuba providing relief to children and families. In recent days, the actor took to Instagram to ask his followers how they are doing with their mental health issues during self-isolation, and shared multiple responses highlighting the impact the social distancing guidelines are having on people.
